Her musical taste extends back to the Baroque era, demonstrated by her co-founding a conductor-less ensemble, Cardiff Camerata, at Cardiff University. Emma also enjoys larger scale works and led the Cardiff University Symphony Orchestra playing Mahler 5, Webern and Strauss in the BBC Hoddinott Hall.
Emma has recently joined a very exciting Bristol-based orchestra, Insight Ensemble, which aims to create an unforgettable experience for audience members by programming in circus acts and wearing costumes to suit a theme, as well as creating a sense of interaction between audience and performers.
